April 2014 will see THE OLD WIND's first ever live appearances. The band around former BREACH vocalist Tomas Hallbom, who is joined by former BREACH guitar player Niklas Quintana and THE OCEAN's Robin Staps on guitars, Karl Daniel Liden on drums and Mattias Hägerstrand on bass, will set out for a 12 dates tour with TERRA TENEBROSA in April, including an appearance at ROADBURN FESTIVAL on April 11th. 

Just after this tour, THE OLD WIND will support CULT OF LUNA in their hometown Umeå in the North of Sweden on April 26th, as well as in Stockholm the following day.

THE OLD WIND will also have a UK-exclusive appearance at Beyond The Redshift Festival in London, along with AMPLIFIER, GODSEED, GOD IS AN ASTRONAUT, JESU, AMEN RA, BOSSK, BLUE NECK and CULT OF LUNA, who are curating the festival. Learn more about Beyond The Redshift here.

On May 2nd, PELAGIC RECORDS will release Dioramic's 3rd album "Supra". The band’s songwriting has steadily evolved over the years, and "Supra" reflects - so far - the peak of this evolution: we are not exaggerating when we say it is a truly mind-blowing piece of heavy, yet catchy music.

In recent years, Dioramic has focused their activities on select support shows for bands like Meshuggah, Skindred, or Every Time I Die, as well as appearances at festivals like Highfield or Southside. The band's phase of inertia was also caused by the enormous and rather time-consuming success of drummer Anton’s alter ego “Zedd”, who recently got replaced by Paul Seidel (The Ocean). Paul's surely gonna have a busy year 2014!

The band has recently started a crowd-funding campaign, which still runs until February 21st (scroll down for english). THE OCEAN announce co-headlining US tour with Scale the Summit

THE OCEAN will be returning to North America in 2014 for a co-headline run with Prosthetic Recording artist Scale the Summit and special guests The Atlas Moth and Silver Snakes presented by Metal Sucks. The tour kicks off on Wednesday, March 5 in Seattle, WA and wraps up on Sunday, March 30 in Cambridge, MA, including two dates scheduled in Austin, TX for SXSW.
 
Guitarist, founding member, and main brain behind THE OCEAN, Robin Staps comments:  "We're excited to return to the US with our first headline tour since 2008. A lot has happened in the meantime and the band is in a different place now, both musically as well as lineup-wise. We have played some bigger tours which came with a lot of compromises (short set, no production, rushed changeovers), so we are really happy that we're finally gonna be able to offer our Stateside fans and supporters a ‘full’ The Ocean set. We will be playing 'Pelagial' in its entirety most nights, the way it's been written and the way it's been meant to be performed live, as well as some 'Heliocentric', 'Anthropocentric' and 'Precambrian' tunes."
